Thesara Jayawardane - Sri Lankan Teledrama Actress & TV Personality
Thesara Jayawardene is a new face on the small screen. Though, she has acted in few tele dramas, she professionally is an engineer.
Thesara has just returned from New Zealand, where she graduated in engineering. She migrated to New Zealand eight years ago with her parents.
Thesara is a multi-talented girl. She is a professional ballroom dancer and a certified dance instructor in Wellington and also a Bharatha Natyam specialist.
Her acting debut came with Bennette Ratnayake’s ‘Athbhutha Laampuwa’, which will be released soon. She also acted in ‘Rangana Vijithaya’, which was telecat on ITN .
She plays the lead role opposite Roshan Pilapitiya in ‘Sanad Biligath Raththriya’, the latest teledrama directed by Sriyani Amarasena. Sriyani Amarasena, Douglas Ranasinghe, Cletus Mendis and Nadeeka Gunesekera star in this telefilm. At present she acts in the teledrama ‘Meedum Seveneli’,which is still under production.
Minister Jeevan Kumaranatunga plays the lead role in this teledrama, currently beingfilmed at locations in Ohiya.
